What changed
Regulation (EU) 2025/40 (PPWR) becomes applicable on 12 August 2026. Articles 12(6) and 12(7) required the European Commission to adopt, by that same date, the implementing acts defining the harmonised label and the digital-marking methodology. As of this alert's publication date, no such act appears in the Regulation's official history on EUR-Lex.
