You already have the documents. The question is what they cover.

This page is written for the Brazilian exporter, because that is who the first corridor was built with. The vocabulary is yours: NF-e (Brazilian electronic invoice), CAR (Rural Environmental Registry (Brazil)), MAPA (Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture), e-Phyto. Nothing here asks you to learn a new one.

Your documents already exist

How the paperwork you already issue becomes a passport your buyer can open, without exposing your files or your prices.

Why your buyer will ask

For goods produced outside the EU, your European customer is generally the operator under the EU Deforestation Regulation, and an operator may not place a relevant product on the Union market without submitting a due diligence statement beforehand.

To reach that point the operator needs the Article 9 information for the consignment, including the geolocation of every plot of land, and has to keep the due diligence documentation for at least five years. That is why the questions reach you, and why they arrive earlier every year.

There is one narrow exception, and this corridor is not it: a micro or small primary operator established in a country classified as low risk submits a one-time simplified declaration instead of a due diligence statement.

Source: Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, Article 2, point (15) (operator, as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2025/2650), Article 4(1) and Article 7; the customs procedure 'release for free circulation' is the one Article 26(1) names. INTERPRETIVE BASIS, recorded because it is not article text: the release-for-free-circulation formulation for identifying the operator comes from the Commission's EUDR guidance and FAQ, not from the Regulation, which is why the published sentence says 'generally' and adds that specific arrangements can change which actors carry duties (primary source) · checked on 25 August 2026

Source: Regulation (EU) 2023/1115, Article 12(5) for all documentation related to due diligence, at least five years; Article 9(1) for the Article 9 information, five years from the placing on the market or export; Article 4(3), second sentence, as replaced by Regulation (EU) 2025/2650, for the record of the due diligence statement (primary source) · checked on 6 September 2026

The container that cannot move on a doubt

The cost of a blocked shipment is never the paperwork. It is demurrage, a buyer who now wants a discount, a slot on a vessel that will not wait, and a relationship that gets a little more expensive every time.

And the doubt is rarely dramatic. A plot code that reads differently in two documents. A certificate whose date does not line up with the harvest. A volume that nobody reconciled. Small things, found late.

Late is the whole problem. Every one of those was visible weeks earlier, in documents you already had, if anybody had looked at them together.

What you bring

What you already send your despachante. The NF-e (Brazilian electronic invoice) for the lot. The CAR (Rural Environmental Registry (Brazil)) for the property. The MAPA (Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture) certificate. The e-Phyto when the destination asks for it. Land records, contracts, lab reports if you have them.

As they are. No template, no re-typing, no spreadsheet in the middle. Each document lands in its evidence class, linked to the attributes it supports.

What the demonstration produces

A reading of what your evidence actually covers, attribute by attribute, with the source document behind each one. Where it is solid, where it is thin, and where a registered human attester needs to look before anything is published.

That reading is the point. It arrives while you can still act on it: request the missing document, correct the plot code, ask the supplier the question, all before the lot is committed to a vessel and a date.

When the evidence holds, the output is a passport your buyer can open and verify without asking you for anything.

Sharing under your control

You choose which passport is shared with which buyer, and you can stop future sharing at any time.

What the buyer sees is the regulatory facts your passport carries, together with the evidence support behind them: the coverage state, the confidence level, the class of the backing document and how recently it was verified. Never the source documents. Never your prices or commercial terms. Never your other customers.

One thing to be plain about, because it would surface at the worst possible moment otherwise: stopping a share stops future visibility. It does not erase information the buyer validly received while the share was active.

And nothing leaks the other way either. AnyDPP does not reveal passports, exporters or consignments that have not been shared with the person asking.

You choose who sees it. Stopping is stopping, not erasing.

Animated diagram in four steps. One: your passport sits on the left and two buyers on the right, neither of them seeing anything yet. Two: you share the passport with one buyer only, and facts together with their evidence support travel to that buyer while the other buyer still sees nothing. Three: the buyer's view shows the fact values and, beside them, coverage, confidence, document class and how recently each was verified, and never the source documents, your prices or your other customers. Four: you stop the sharing, no further updates travel, and the record the buyer already received stays where it is.
Sharing, over time. You share one passport with one buyer, that buyer sees the regulatory facts and the evidence support behind them, and you can stop future sharing whenever you choose. What the buyer validly received while the share was active stays with the buyer.

What actually changed in EU deforestation and product-passport rules, with a source for each item and nothing else in the envelope.

Start with your own documents

The fastest way to judge this is to read it against a lot you have already shipped, where you know the answer. The published passport carries demonstration content, not a real shipment, and the credential, the signature and the verification path in it are genuine.
